The Rusty Nuts versus Stewart Island Community sports shield. Contested between open ended and usually even teams at Pool, darts, skeet shooting, golf, tug of war etc. In '94 SIC won it, in '97 SIC won it, in 2000 it was a draw.
This shield was vital part of the Rakiura Sunset Rally's run on those years. It was useful in getting the Islanders and the Rusty's to intergrate and accept each other. It was a huge amount of fun as well. Currently held at Rusty Nuts HQ.
