The Big 5 O - 50th RNMC event.
50 events - a significent milestone in any clubs history. In the context of the Rusty Nuts M/c it has taken 18 years to get there. While some events have been quite small and understated, others are renowned for there toughness. Some have been one off's, others, like the Grand Challenges are part of a long running series.

Big 5 O ride review - David Coy The Big 5O Ride to mark our events Golden Anniversary was a unique event. The requirement for riders to record their progress by a series of photos, was new to us, and presented its own problems, like how to make sure that photos were not taken early. A flag was produced and had to be in each photo taken, one problem down. Then how get 1000 prints in a short space of time. Still logistical problems bring out the best in Rusty Nuts members, and our events are known for there smooth running. This run proved to be totally exceptional in its easy of running, withover 100,000km travelled in less than 100 hours the riders on this unique rally provided us with the perfect Golden Anniversary present - No 'offs', No breakdowns, No pullouts. A perfect record. Well done all. Here is David Coe's story of the ride.
